On our final day, we took a drive up to Hurricane Ridge, which provided a 360-degree view of the Olympic Mountains. Even though the scenery was spectacular, we felt it would have been more impressive before we had backpacked. Nothing makes one appreciate scenery more than having climbed passed the easy reach of roads to achieve your view.
