Glen Ten Assig (or Bobbing for Sheep)

Glen Ten Assig Glen Ten Assig

The next day we went to the Glen Ten Assig Park. There was no sign for the park off the main road and the "road" in looked like it had been shelled 20 years ago and never repaired. Bumpy, but fun. We finally got to this pretty little lake with sheep all around it, one shep (singular for sheep), was scratching its butt on a park bench. The things you see in Ireland! We hiked around the lake and part way up a mountain. No one else was around. It was rustic and beautiful.

Dingle Loop

Then we were off to the Dingle Loop. None of us were that excited about the Dingle Loop, except when we were trying to find the illusive Wine Strand. We ended up letting one wheel of the car touch the gravel pull-offs for a tourist site and would all yell "check." We managed to check off all the tourist places thus proving we saw everything! Finally, we were on to Killarney and out to the pubs for dinner and music.
